The Manifesto
EXECUTING THE MISSION OF CORPBURNRATE LABS
Corporate Burn Rate wasn't born in a Silicon Valley incubator. It was forged in the absolute misery of the enterprise IT trenches.
The Origin Story
After 17 years of configuring routing protocols, architecting networks, and trying to keep critical infrastructure alive, our founder realized a horrifying truth: the greatest threat to an enterprise is not a malicious DDoS attack or a massive firewall failure. It is a middle manager who wants to "boil the ocean."
We've sat in endless Change Advisory Board reviews watching perfectly logical, secure deployments get rejected because the slide deck lacked "synergy." We've been trapped in mandatory 9:00 AM stand-ups that stretched into 45-minute philosophical debates about agile methodology, all while the actual production database was quietly throwing alerts in the background.
We realized that while companies ruthlessly track every cent spent on hardware, software licenses, and cloud bandwidth, they will happily incinerate $8,000 in payroll to have twelve people sit in a room and agree to "circle back" next week.
Something had to snap. So, we built the calculator.
Our Mission
Corpburnrate Labs is dedicated to one singular mission: Fiscal Transparency via Tactical Boredom Mitigation.
We believe that if executives could see the literal, real-time dollar amount bleeding out of their department every time someone asks to "take it offline," meetings would be five minutes long.
This application is designed for the engineers, the developers, the analysts, and the workers who actually keep the lights on. It is a silent protest tool. It is a way to look like you are taking diligent notes on your phone while actively calculating the exact financial damage of the current conversation.
The Technology
The mobile application was built to run natively and autonomously. We do not track your data, we do not require a corporate login, and we certainly do not upload your meeting receipts to a cloud dashboard. What happens on your local device, stays on your local device.
We've integrated stealth modes, premium chaotic exit strategies for when your "BGP route is flapping," and a jargon dictionary to decode the madness.
