What HR thinks it means:
A strict cutoff time for ending a meeting.
What it actually means:
"A polite way to say 'I have another meeting where they are also wasting my time.'"
Use it in a meeting:
"I have a hard stop at 3 PM, mostly because continuing to listen to this Q3 roadmap presentation will literally cause my brain to hemorrhage."
