The capacity of a system to handle a growing amount of work.
What it actually means:
"It barely works for 10 users right now, but we'll worry about that when it crashes at 10,000."
Use it in a meeting:
"The developers promised the new microservices architecture was highly scalable, right up until the moment it encountered its second concurrent user."
