Define: "Synergy"
What HR thinks it means:
The combined value and performance of two groups being greater than the sum of their parts.
What it actually means:
"Two underperforming departments being mashed together so a VP can justify their annual bonus."
Use it in a meeting:
"The VP spent twenty minutes preaching about cross-departmental synergy while the actual developers sat in silence, calculating exactly how much of their lives were being wasted in real-time."
