Welcome to Corporate Burn Rate. By accessing or using our website (corpburnrate.com) and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. For Entertainment Purposes Only
Corporate Burn Rate is a satirical novelty application designed strictly for entertainment purposes. It is not legitimate financial, accounting, HR, or corporate software.
- The "burn rates," "waste invoices," and financial calculations generated by the app are fictional estimations and hold no real-world financial or legal validity.
- You agree that you will not use the generated receipts, invoices, or app data in any official corporate capacity, formal grievance process, or legal proceeding.
2. User Conduct & Workplace Liability
You are solely responsible for how you use this application in your workplace or personal life. We strongly advise against using this app in a manner that violates your employer's code of conduct, device usage policies, or HR guidelines.
Corporate Burn Rate and its developers assume zero liability for any disciplinary actions, termination of employment, loss of wages, or workplace disputes that arise from your use of the app, sharing of generated invoices, or displaying of app content to colleagues or management.
3. Intellectual Property
All content provided on the website and within the app, including but not limited to the custom "Jargon Dictionary" definitions, UI design, logos, and software code, are the exclusive intellectual property of Corporate Burn Rate. You may not scrape, reproduce, republish, or distribute our dictionary definitions or UI elements for commercial use without explicit permission.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Certain features of the mobile app (such as "CEO Mode") may require a premium subscription or one-time purchase. All transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat.
- Refunds: All refund requests must be handled directly through the Google Play Store in accordance with Google's standard refund policies. We do not have the ability to manually issue refunds or reverse transactions on our end.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Canceling will stop future billing, but you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORPORATE BURN RATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; OR (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
